The 19th Century
Probably Knutsford's most famous resident! What would it have been like for her to visit Knutsford as a young married woman, with three children? This story is set in 1843.
In reading this story we learn a little about her love of Knutsford - what motivated her to write and also see some recognizable aspects of our town.
